At the heart of our mission is a commitment to responsible land stewardship. We believe that productive farmland should be retained for food production.

We actively endorse initiatives that cultivate biodiversity through thoughtful, land-conscious practices. Our approach is all-encompassing, with a focus on community inclusivity, protecting and nurturing nature, and securing sustainable income streams for the generations to come.

How we work with landowners

In partnership with our funders and delivery partners, we offer two broad routes for landowners:

  • Purchase model

Thinking of selling your land? We welcome the chance to provide a competitive offer. Our commitment to flexibility means we can tailor purchase agreements to meet your unique needs and circumstances. You can part ways with the confidence that your land will be in capable hands, respectfully maintained for generations to come.

  • Advisory and Promotional

Nature Impact establishes your biodiversity project, which includes tendering, briefing and instructing consultants, collating reports, liaising with solicitors and the local authority to establish a Conservation Covenant and/or S106 agreement and then registering the project.

Nature Impact will also manage the sale of biodiversity units, both through our own sales and marketing strategy and in partnership with agents.

What are we looking for?

We welcome the opportunity to look at sites from 20-200 hectares in size, with a high percentage of land categorised as Grades 3 to 5.

What’s in it for us?

As you may have guessed, our aim is to create value by channelling investment into UK nature, in return for the sale of ecosystem services, including biodiversity units. We are deeply committed to making a positive contribution to the UK and the natural world, all while building a thriving and ethical enterprise.

Renewables

In addition to our biodiversity and carbon projects, we are actively exploring opportunities with renewable energy partners. These initiatives enable both landowners and us to broaden income sources while contributing to a more sustainable environment. Leveraging our software, we can assess the feasibility of your land for these projects.
